We aim to build on family strengths, repair relationships and create opportunities for families to succeed, so that children and young people to have positive relationships with their parents and care-givers.
What is Functional Family Therapy?
Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an evidence-based family prevention and intervention programme.
It aims to help and support families where there is a young person with significant emotional, social and/or behavioural difficulties, and families where there is a risk of family breakdown.

Our core offer focuses on delivering and expanding evidence-based practice, supported by strong clinical expertise and implementation skills. We use interventions with clear logic models and proven outcomes, strengthened by ongoing use of clinical and real-time data to track effectiveness. We also explore emerging practice based evidenced interventions that can be tested and developed to robust standards.
