We’ve Been Shortlisted for Two Pioneers Post Awards 🎉

We’re delighted to share some brilliant news: Family Psychology Mutual has been shortlisted for Social Business Pioneer and Tom Jefford, Business Director and Joint CEO, has been shortlisted for Pioneering Leader.

The Pioneers Post Awards celebrate organisations that are driving positive change through social enterprise, innovation, and impact. To be recognised alongside so many inspiring organisations working for social good is a huge honour—and one we’re incredibly proud of.

Why this matters to us

Being shortlisted is meaningful recognition of the work our teams do every day alongside families, young people, commissioners, and partners. It reflects our commitment to:

  • Delivering evidence‑based, family‑centred services

  • Putting relationships, dignity, and hope at the heart of our work

  • Operating as an employee‑owned social enterprise with impact at its core

  • Continuously learning, improving, and holding ourselves to high standards

Behind this shortlist are thousands of conversations, sessions, plans, and moments of perseverance—by families, practitioners, supervisors, and the wider system around them.

A shared achievement

This achievement belongs to everyone who contributes to FPM:

  • Our practitioners and supervisors, whose skill, care, and commitment make change possible

  • Our support teams, who keep everything running with professionalism and purpose

  • Our partners and commissioners, who work alongside us to deliver sustainable, effective services

  • And most importantly, the families and young people who place their trust in us and allow us to walk alongside them during challenging times

Looking ahead

Being shortlisted for two Pioneers Post Awards gives us a moment to pause, celebrate, and reflect—but it also strengthens our determination to keep pushing forward. We remain focused on learning what works, sharing good practice, and creating lasting impact for families across the communities we serve.

We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed as the awards progress and look forward to celebrating with fellow nominees who are all contributing to a fairer, more compassionate society.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey with us so far—and watch this space for updates.
